Regular towels are the most common breeding grounds for Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. They are caused by humidity, heat and limited ventilation - especially if the towel remains damp for a long time. Such a medium is ideal for the proliferation of microflora.

They can cause skin irritation, itching, rashes, or even infections - especially if the skin is sensitive or has microcracks. In addition, prolonged contact with such towels can weaken the skin's protective barrier, which increases sensitivity to other substances or allergens.
